Kaylah and I were at an estate sale a few weeks ago when I spotted a table with a Canon TL and several lenses. I had been looking for a good deal on an old 35mm SLR for a while and the price was very good to say the least so I pulled the trigger and I'm glad I did. I love shooting with film however I'm notorious for accidentally opening the backs of cameras and exposing the film hence the light leaks. I guess that's just what happens when you're rough on equipment like I am. I'm ok with it though. For me the light leaks, grain, and all the other imperfections are just part of the beauty of shooting with film.

I was part of a small group of photographers invited to tour and photograph the historic Pilgrim Church in Tremont. The building was incredible and the view from the bell tower was awesome!
Overall I was pretty happy with the results from my first two rolls of film. I'm just a few frames away from finishing my next two rolls so look for those photos next week or the week after.

Love the light leaks, I'm forever opening the backs of my cameras on purpose hoping for flares like that :)
